Writing is like cooking. It requires deliberate planning. You have to consciously and intentionally create a plan – we often call this ‘an outline’.
You can’t cook in your kitchen without a plan! Oftentimes, writing is difficult because we don’t know what to cook, and therefore we experience difficulties in identifying and finding the materials we need for writing.
Ask these questions to yourself. What is the main objective of my writing? What are the functions of paragraphs in my piece of writing?
